This one-hour session can help you to get started with careers planning and applications, and showcase your skills and experience.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis. Masterclasses are repeated and new dates will be available in the new year.
Instructions for all CIVIS attendees:
- Masterclasses are ‘live’ and interactive sessions. As such they start promptly, and you will only be allowed to enter the session in the first 10 minutes.
- You will be sent the Zoom link a couple of days before the event. Please do not share the link as places are limited.
- Pre-register on Zoom and log in at least 10 minutes before the start time (allowing time to connect) to ensure you are allowed in the Masterclass.
- Attendance is monitored and therefore we ask you to register for the class with your full name on your student record, your university email address. Type the name of your university in the field ‘GUID’.
- Masterclasses are not recorded and slides will not be shared, so make sure you take notes during the session.
- Questions are very welcome. You will have time to ask questions (within the session) at the end of the Masterclass.
Please note:
- Masterclasses are designed primarily for a UK audience.
- Masterclasses are not designed to help you find a job in the UK.
- Unfortunately, we cannot open the University of Glasgow careers platform to CIVIS students.
