Description

Passionate about ending mental health stigma and discrimination?

Come to a workshop on Friday 20th February 2015 at the Falkirk Campus to play your part.

We want students to help us figure out how to end the stigma those experiencing mental health problems may face at college and in the community.

The workshop will start at 11am and end by 3.30pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided. All students are welcome – whether you study on a full time, part time or evening course. We especially welcome students who have experienced mental health problems, though you won’t have to talk about your experiences unless you want to. Bring friends, it will be a fun and inspiring day where you decide the way forward.

At the workshop we will look at what students have told us about their experiences and will develop a project to make a positive change in the college that will tackle stigma and discrimination.

We need lots of different skills at the workshop - are you creative and arty? Do you know the health and care sector well? Can you make excellent cakes? Are you brilliant at sport? Great at communications? Or none of the above but just really passionate? All skills required and plenty of passion needed so come along!

Be involved in making that change, come along and help end stigma and discrimination!
