Originally set up as an R&D consultancy developing designs for pro and consumer audio companies, Prism Sound now manufactures its own high-end recording and mastering products, as well as audio test and measurement equipment and networked audio logging systems.

Bob Katz presents: Audio Mastering in 2014
Bob Katz is one of the best known mastering engineers in today's music industry. His work has received numerous important accolades, not least of all 3 Grammy awards!
On top of his incredible music production achievements Bob is no stranger to technical audio; he built the first useable model of an oversampled A/D converter to produce the world's first oversampled commercial recordings, recorded the first commercial 96kHz/24bit audio DVD as well as inventing and patenting an ambience recovery algorithm which has been commercialized in several products.
Bob Katz has been the chair of various AES sections and conventions, whilst his book, Mastering Audio, has gone through nine printings, two editions and for many mastering engineers, it is the bible.
