‘Black Women Mean Business’ explores the experiences of Black Women within the music industry through the lens of an all-Black and Woman panel. Our panellists will take you on a journey where they discuss misogynoir (where racism and sexism mutate) and how they navigate the music industry. Ultimately, our panellists will share their knowledge and experience that has led to their career development and legacy building.

Our talk series will continue to use the format of discussing the opportunities behind the scenes, how we support peer recommendations that enable others to educate, support and bring their peers into the business.

Shikayla Nadine - An Artist Manager for singer songwriter Rebecca Garton and singer, songwriter, rapper & producer Levelle London under her company SN Music Management. As well as artist management Shikayla expresses her love and appreciation of black music through hosting her own radio show. Hosting the Midday With Kay Show, she prides herself on helping to push new and upcoming artists to the forefront.

Nike Durosaro - Nike Durosaro is the owner of music management & consultancy company Big Drum Entertainment. She is also a former lawyer and accredited Prince2 Project Management Practitioner. In 2019, Nike was selected as one of 24 emerging managers in the UK to undertake the new MMF Youtube Accelerator Programme. In February 2020, Nike launched a music consultancy service and now offers 1:1 advice sessions to artists and managers on an hourly basis

Shauni Caballero - Shauni Caballero is a former Universal Music and PRS for Music Exec, founded The Go 2 Agency a Music Publishing and Consultancy company to help Artists, Writers and Producers make money from their Music.
