What's next for museums?
Now in its fifth year MuseumNext looks to bring together the leading themes, trends and related best practice from the digital side of museums, with the aim of providing a clear insight into how technology and media are shaping our institutions and the world around us.
This year MuseumNext will focus on 'What's Next' with two days of inspiring presentations from high profile institutions and industry experts. The programme includes three streams of content allowing delegates to choose the presentations, unconference session or masterclass which interests them the most.
Director of Digital & Emerging Technologies, Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, New York City
Michael John Gorman
Director, Science Gallery, Dublin
Head of New Media, Science Museum, London
Digital Manager, Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam
MuseumNext is now established as Europe's big conference on the digital side of museums, and this is a must attend event for anyone working with technology in museums, whether that is in the context of marketing, education, curation, design or the internet.
The conference will be preceeded with a MuseumNext Fringe on Sunday 12 May organised by N8, and delegates are advised to arrive in Amsterdam early to participate in these extra activities.
