Registration is now open for AAA Congress 2019, which will once again be hosted by NatWest at 250 Bishopsgate EC2M 4AA May 14 & 15.

By 2035, many of us will have racked up our fair share of years. If the status quo goes unchallenged, there will be a serious shortage of decent living space for an ageing population.

The purpose of this event is to enable stakeholders to coalesce around a common cause: Reimagining our Neighbourhoods of the Future. Hear from Cities aspiring to develop connected large scale demonstrators and find out how to get involved. Working in partnership with RICS, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, this event will also inform development of a new Reference Framework for Age-friendly Housing and Neighbourhoods.

The good news is there is no shortage of innovation in the UK. What’s missing is a collaborative framework and a better understanding of the tools required to help government and local authorities support the needs of an ageing population - at scale.

To set the scene AAA invited some of the brightest minds from a wide range of fields to think collectively about what, in an ideal world, our homes and neighbourhoods could look like in 2035 and the steps that must be taken now to realise this vision.(view programme)

Commissioned by Tata Steel, these scenarios were collated in Neighbourhoods of the Future 2019, a 350 page report jam packed with exciting ideas and concepts. Individually our contributors offer unparalleled insight, and, crucially, solutions to the sector-specific challenges they face. Collectively, they and we are driving towards a common goal, one that demands collaboration.

Thanks to the generosity of our partners Regents Regeneration & NatWest, there is no charge to participate.
