The autumn meeting includes free science presentations, two guest lectures, and the AGM of members.

It is open to members of the society and non-members who work in clinical and non-clinical disciplines related to perinatal medicine.

The Widdowson lecture will be given by Professor Steve Charnock-Jones, University of Cambridge

  • Human placenta has no microbiome but can contain potential pathogens.

The keynote lecture will be given by Professor Paul Leeson

  • Early life determinants of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health.

Registration to the event is free.

The meeting is an online event. There is opportunity for a limited number of people to attend in person at the Royal Society of Medicine with social distancing measures in place, and the event will be live streamed to delegates.
