Plan for the evening
We are looking for volunteers to give talks up to 10 minute long on something related to Raspberry Pi. You can be a beginner or an expert and your talk can be about a project you are currently doing, something you would like to do, something you need help on or anything related to Raspberry Pi and associated technologies.
We currently have the following talks:
- Potteries Hackspace
- Internet of Things
- Experiences of outreach Raspberry Pi events with year 5 to year 10 school audiences
Raspberry Pi for Beginners session
We will be running a session for beginners to introduce them to the Raspberry Pi and its features, show them how to install an OS and give them an introduction to Python. If you are interested in attending a tutorial please select the "Admission + Beginners Tutorial" registration only.
If you have any Pi related projects you want to show off, come along and we'll provide you with a table to show off your work. If you can bring your own Raspberry Pi and display then please do so, if not let us know and we'll see what we can do.
We currently have the following demos:
- Potteries Hackspace demos (Decided by competition before event)
Food & Drink facilities
There is an on-site coffee shop that sells snacks, coffee and light meals for those who need it.
How to get there
The meeting will be at Newcastle under Lyme College on Knutton Lane in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You can park in the visitors' car park near the front entrance. There will be signs and guides in the reception to provide directions.
