Nicer Tuesday: Pranks
Tuesday, 25 March 2014 from 19:00 to 21:00 (GMT)
London, United Kingdom
When we realised the next Nicer Tuesdays was a few days before April Fools, we thought what better way to inspire you all than by inviting some of the best creative pranksters in the land to reveal their weird and wonderful hoaxes!
Hirsch and Mann’s senior interaction designer Katrin Baumgarten will reveal how they worked with Red Stripe to transform an unassuming corner shop in Hackney into a suprise musical extravaganza, and London based artist and designer Josh King will tell us about fooling football fans around the world into a bidding war on Ebay for Alex Furguson's "last gum" - reaching nearly £200,000!
Also joining us is B.T. Wilderbourne to talk about how he inserted absurd humour into the driest of all correspondence - the major insurance company letter, and Rebecca Broomfield of Bray Leino Communications will spill the beans on inventing Virgin Altantic's first glass bottom plane.
As ever the beers will be on us so come and joint us for a tip-top night of prank themed inspiration!
Please note that this month’s event will take place at Protein's brand new event space in Shoreditch.
