Nation Branding – Dead or Alive?

The Nordic Business Forum returns to London on the 1 March, this year to be hosted at the exciting Southbank Centre which for the whole of 2017 are celebrating Nordic Matters.

The Nordic Business Forum is an annual event organised by Nordic Chambers of Commerce in the UK. For over four years it has brought together senior business people to celebrate Anglo-Nordic business. The aim of this event is to empower and inspire professionals through fantastic networking opportunities created by joining the extended networks of the Nordic Chambers of Commerce in London at the same time as hearing from prominent business executives and other influential persons who share their expertise from various fields.

In 2017, the focus will be on ‘Nation Branding – Dead or Alive’. Whereas Brand Nordic has been celebrated by many businesses in the past decade, many others have chosen not to take advantage of the brand and celebrate success without its influence. At the Nordic Business Forum 2017, we want to investigate whether the strength of nation/region branding and the Nordic Brand in the UK is as strong as many argue, or whether it is merely a myth.

The event is scheduled to take place on the evening of the 1 March in central London. We expect 100-150 attendees from a diverse international network, predominantly leading management from the Nordic Chambers’ extended networks representing both Nordic, British and international companies.
