Poles are provided for the Workshop. It is best to layer up for Nordic Walking so you can adjust your clothing as you get warmer, lightweight waterproofs may be necessary depending on the weather. Trainers or walking shoes are preferable to walking boots but not essential at this stage.
Walk Kernow will provide poles for use during your Beginners Workshop and are also available for hire on walks, however, if you would like to purchase poles prior to your Beginners Workshop so that you can learn using your own poles, please contact us to discuss our full range of Exel Poles (information and prices available online in our online shop)
Whenever you walk with us it is essential to bring water with you so a water carrying waist pack or slim rucksack so it doesn't restrict movement, is essential. We also have Walk Kernow Waist packs for sale (includes a bottle of water) These can be added to your Beginners Workshop order.
Apres Nordic Walk
After our Workshop we have coffee or lunch in Crofters if you would like to join us. You will receive a voucher for a FREE tea or filter coffee when you make any purchase.
