Description

Norfolk & Norwich Festival Bridge invites you to DanceEast Ipswich for our second annual event - Culture Chain 2 - a day of exchange dialogue and creative activity to explore a new vision for working with and for children and young people through arts and cultural education.

In this time of change an opportunity has been provided for us as a sector to collectively lead as gaps emerge in the infrastructure of policy and strategy.

We will be exploring:

• What skills, attributes and tools do we need in order to take a leading role?

• How can we work together to generate high level thinking and big ideas which will enhance our region’s cultural future?

We are inviting young people and anyone working with and for them to our 2014 annual event to network, share knowledge and expertise and to find out more about our investment programmes.

NNF Bridge has recently secured a further three years investment from Arts Council England to continue in our role for Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and Suffolk. Culture Chain is part of our on-going dialogue with the region, providing you with the opportunity to help shape and inform our programme for 2015-18.

It was one of the most inspiring and creative events I have attended in my professional role! The careful, clever and well-structured facilitation provoked debate, forged links and stimulated original ideas.” Rachel Snape, Headteacher, The Spinney Primary School, Cambridge

Festival Bridge is one of ten national Bridge organisations funded by Arts Council England and the Department for Education to connect children and young people with great arts and culture in their region.

We work across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and Suffolk, supporting and developing strong cultural education networks and partnerships, ensuring children and young people’s creative and cultural experiences are the most valuable they can be and acting as a leading hub of useful information to inspire cultural education practitioners.

We also support and develop Arts Award and Artsmark in our region.
