Description

The Big Lottery Fund Scotland Big blue logois currently applying to act as a lead partner to deliver ESF funding in Scotland. If we are successful we will procure providers to deliver contracts that contribute to the ESF thematic objective “Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination” and investment priority “Active inclusion, including with a view to promoting equal opportunities and active participation and improving employability”. We will be holding open market testing days in each of our five targeted areas, indicated below.

We aim to deliver work in this area due to the clear potential for us to align European funds with our own mission, to help those most in need and to lever in additional monies to support structural change for disadvantaged areas. Our proposals will form part of an overall Poverty & Social Inclusion programme being managed by Scottish Government and further details of this can be found on their website.

Our delivery model means we will procure service contracts that seek to increase the financial capacity of the most disadvantaged individuals and households. The approach should be new or add value to existing services.

We envisage awarding contracts as follows:

  • Argyll and Bute : anticipated contract value £3.75M inc VAT
  • Dundee: anticipated contract value £3M inc VAT
  • Glasgow: anticipated contract value £4.25M inc VAT
  • Inverclyde: anticipated contract value £2.25M inc VAT
  • North Ayrshire: anticipated contract value £3M inc VAT

Bids are encouraged from all sectors (public, private and VCSE). Smaller organisations may wish to bid in partnership for this contract and these bids would be welcome.

Please have regard to The Fund's data protection policy which sets out how we will use your information. We hope to see you there.

The National Lottery Community Fund is proud to award money raised by National Lottery players across the UK to support ideas and projects that matter to people and communities. When people are in the lead, communities thrive.

From National Lottery grants of £300 up to £200,000, our funding in Scotland is open to all communities whatever their starting point and we understand that some will need extra support. We start with the strengths people bring, and the potential in their idea.
