A highly interactive day for newly qualified teachers of mathematics at Key Stages Early Years, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Join the NRICH team in Cambridge for a free professional development day designed to support NQTs in nurturing confident, resourceful and creative mathematical problem-solvers in their classrooms.

As a result of attending this full-day CPD event you will also have a better understanding of how to use rich tasks to support the aims of the new National Curriculum: fluency, reasoning and problem solving.with a focus on ideas for encouraging mathematical creativity and developing mathematical thinking. Important information: please read before booking

  • Schools may send a maximum of two delegates: however, please complete a separate registration form for each delegate. Places are limited: early booking is advised. Permission to attend must be obtained from your Head/SMT before booking a place.
  • Please make sure you select the appropriate ticket category (ie primary or secondary teacher) when booking a place.
  • Thanks to the generous support of the Templeton World Charity Foundation, we are able to offer free places to teachers from UK schools. Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided without charge for all delegates. Please note the cancellation policy below.
  • Cancellation policy: Please note that, at our discretion, a cancellation charge of £95 will be incurred in the event of non-attendance on the day, or cancellation after Friday 19 June 2015.
  • The talks and workshops may be filmed or photographed. Photographs and films may be published, transmitted or broadcast in official University of Cambridge publications and in University publicity materials, including University and University-affiliated websites and may be circulated to the press and other broadcast media and Internet websites for publication, transmission or broadcast.
