NWFPA Food Poverty Conference

Rydym yn hynod gyffrous i gyhoeddi ein bod yn cynnal cynhadledd AM DDIM yn yr Optic yn Llanelwy ar 30 Tachwedd i godi ymwybyddiaeth a deall effeithiau tlodi bwyd ar draws Rhanbarth Gogledd Cymru.

Ni ellir cyflawni'r her o leihau effeithiau negyddol a niweidiol tlodi bwyd gan un neu ddau sefydliad yn unig, dim ond trwy gydweithredu, cydlynu a chyflenwi gyda’n gilydd y gellir cyflawni hyn, mae'r gynhadledd hon yn gam pwysig wrth dynnu ynghyd gweithrediadau'r sefydliadau ac asiantaethau hynny sydd ar hyn o bryd yn ymwneud â darparu atebion gyda'r rhai sy'n ystyried y cyfraniad y gallant ei wneud i her tlodi bwyd.

Nodau'r gynhadledd yw:

• Codi ymwybyddiaeth o'r materion sy'n ymwneud â thlodi bwyd ledled gogledd Cymru a'r effaith ar unigolion, teuluoedd, plant a chymunedau a'r sefydliadau sy'n eu gwasanaethu
• Casglu pobl a sefydliadau perthnasol ynghyd i arwyddo i Siarter Cynghrair Tlodi Bwyd Gogledd Cymru
• Rhannu syniadau ac atebion
• Sicrhau ymrwymiad a chytuno ar ymagwedd gyfunol gan dynnu ar ein holl adnoddau ac arbenigedd

We are very excited to announce that we are holding FREE conference at the Optic in St Asaph on 30thNovember to raise awareness and understand the impacts of food poverty across the North Wales Region.

The challenge of reducing the negative and harmful effects of food poverty cannot be achieved in isolation by one or two organisations, it can only be achieved through cooperative, coordination and delivering together, this conference represents an important step in drawing together the actions of those organisations and agencies currently engaged in providing solutions with those considering the contribution they can make to the challenge of food poverty.

The aims of the conference are:

• To raise awareness of the issues surrounding food poverty across North Wales and the impact on individuals, families, children and communities and the organisations that serve them
• To gather concerned people and organisations together to sign-up to the NWFPA Charter
• To share ideas and solutions
• To gain commitment and agree a collective approach drawing on all of our resources and expertise
