About the Rural Growth Network
The overall vision for the Heart of the South West (HOTSW) Rural Growth Network (RGN) is to create a sustainable rural economy through developing a network of rural enterprise hubs which act as a focal point for support to the micro and small business sector. This pilot aims to raise awareness of entrepreneurialism amongst Devon’s young people and communities.
Events will explore what some communities are doing to identify gaps in or risks to important products and services and how they have designed enterprising solutions to those challenges.
With case studies and a presentation from a Devon-based guest speaker, we will consider how community and social enterprise comes about. We will look at opportunities in your own communities and whether a new business venture might be the solution.
