Event Details

The Queen's speech was delivered on 9 May, mentioning a copyright bill, and an intent to "look at" carrier-grade network address translation (NAT) and its implications for tracing  internet activity to a single user account. Could the coalition precipitate the UK-wide adoption of IPv6? We'll be taking a look at how the Government's legislative plans might engage with digital rights over the coming year.

Plus:

  • an introduction to the MedConfidential campaign fighting for the privacy of your medical records;
  • an ORGCon North round-up from those who attended; and
  • our regular round-up and discussion of the latest digital-rights news, opinions, and happenings.
You don't have to sign up here to come along - but if you do it helps us to avoid exceeding the venue capacity. Pseudonymous sign-ups are fine!
