We welcome leaders and HR professionals to join us in this full day event, designed to investigate the impact of global, political, financial and technological changes on organisational development and structure, including social media, employer branding and generations Y and Z. It will be a participative event and we will consider the importance that approaches to developing engaged teams, communication strategies, work structures, valuing talent, work life balance and effective leadership will have on the success of organisations of the future.
Social media is now part of our lives and it looks likely that this will remain to be the case for future generations. It has transformed how people communicate. It is used to raise the profile of both individuals and organisations and encourage staff engagement.

Mark Manley is Managing Director of Manleys Solicitors and has nearly 30 years of experience obtaining outstanding results in disputes and litigation at the highest level. He has built a national reputation for his work in reputation management (defamation/ brand protection, privacy) and for his successes in commercial litigation cases.
He clients include national and regional newspapers, TV companies, magazines, radio
stations, Football Clubs, managers and players, boxers, musicians and many other clients from the general business, entertainment, music and sports sectors.
Mark acts for many businesses from PLCs with international brands to sole traders. Mark's client list includes several well-known lawyers!
Jan is an experienced business consultant and Investors in People Practitioner, working with leaders to continuously improve their organisations and inspire them to transform performance through their people. Jan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and also a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
Jan has developed a particular interest in leadership effectiveness and employee engagement, linked to high performance working and improving business performance. Jan is a Committee Member of the CIPD Chester Group
