Our Islands, Our future, Sustainable development

This is a event for UK Overseas Territories Students who are based in the United Kingdom to come together to network with each other and with other UK-based organisations to discuss ideas for the future of their islands. There will be a particular emphasis on sustainable development, looking at areas that have been identified by OT ministers as collective priorities such as renewable energy and eco-tourism.
There will be a few short presentations from key note speakers, and specialists and students. There will be lots of opportunity for networking, group discussion about options for the future and a ‘fair’ where various UK-based organisations linked to/interested in OT sustainable development will be available to discuss opportunities and ideas.
All UK OT students studying in UK are encouraged to attend the event.
