The traditional performance management approach of ratings and annual appraisals is under fire, and rightly so. But what to do instead?

Learn a new approach, and a simple diagnostics process to help you find out what is limiting the performance of your staff or volunteers.

• Takeaway a diagnostics tool to discover the levers to pull to change the wider performance system operating in your organisation

• Capability, and how to view it in a new way to improve future performance

• The real role managers should play in performance management.

Our speaker:

Paul Matthews - People AlchemyPaul Matthews

Paul Matthews, Learning and Performance Expert, makes ideas come alive with stories, making sure the audience gets practical tools and tips to take away and implement. He excels at reducing complex theory down to simple concepts and then articulating these in a way that everyone can understand, and more importantly, use to get better results for themselves and their organisations. This has led to two bestselling books and speaking appearances worldwide.

Paul is a regular speaker at HR and Learning & Development events and exhibitions covering topics such as harnessing the power of informal learning, enabling capability at work, workplace performance improvement, learning transfer and onboarding. He is also invited to speak on management and leadership, and how L&D can be effective in these changing times.
