We are holding a series of open events in March for Year 5 boys who are interested in a place at KEGS in September 2024, together with ONE parent or carer.
The dates are: Monday 6 March (morning); Tuesday 7 March (morning); Wednesday 8 March (morning); Thursday 9 March (afternoon); Friday 10 March (afternoon) and Monday 13 March (morning) with a choice of 2 sessions each day.
The programme includes a tour of the school, and a presentation from the Headteacher and two of our Year 8 students, followed by a short Question and Answer session. Please allow up to 1.5 hours for your visit. Please select your timeslot and it is important that your arrive promptly as sessions will start strictly on time. Tours will be partly outside so please dress for the weather.
Please note that for the safety of our students there is NO PARKING on the school premises except for those with mobility issues - please contact the school should this be the case. The nearest car park (Rectory Lane) is opposite the school, accessed via Elms Drive off Broomfield Road. Please be aware that the car park is likely to be busy, and families are advised to allow sufficient time to park in an alternative location should the need arise.
Visitors should also be aware that the car park is cashless, payable by credit or debit card or MiPermit app. Locations of alternative car parks can also be found on the www.chelmsford.gov.uk website.
Alternatively the school is on a number of bus routes, and is just a 5 minute walk from Chelmsford railway and bus stations.
