Pattern Drafting gives you the skills to create any garments you desire. You will learn how to draft your own bodice, skirt, dress and trousers over the course of 7 weeks and develop a basic understanding of what changes to make to achieve different styles.
You will need pattern drafting paper, tracing paper and calico, all of which are availabe to buy at the workshop. You will also need pencils, pens, rubber, 50cm ruler, large set square and curved ruler. Sew Different can obtain these for you if you wish. You will also be advised on some books which will help you along the way.
With a maximum of 3 in the class you get plenty of attention and chance to ask questions. You will be required to do some work at home, particularly sewing your calico.
