Pit Stop: Rewired
Thursday, 29 September 2016 from 09:00 to 10:00 (BST)
Have you ever Skyped your cousin in Australia, only to print out a spreadsheet and travel miles for a ten minute conversation? Wondered why you can track your pizza delivery, but a bulky uplift has an all-day pickup window?
When technology at home has outstripped council services, we need to start thinking actively about changing for the future. Using a simple card game this facilitated workshop will get you thinking about how to use technology to make big changes for both staff and customers.
Whether you’re committed to digital first, or this is the first you’ve thought of digital, this is a great opportunity to share ideas and think creatively.
Join this group discussion workshop to talk about how you're using technology, what others are doing in the council, and come up with great ideas to improve the way we deliver our services. At the end of the session your group will take away at least one idea to action in your service, and others to post on the Ideas Hub.
