A celebration of Dylan Thomas with guest poets Dannie Abse and Owen Sheers; readers Piers Plowright and Cicely Herbert; and music by Welsh composers, performed by the Apollo Chamber Players.
The summer set of Poems on the Underground, posted in July 2014, celebrates the centenary of the great Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. The set includes poems by Dylan Thomas and four living Welsh poets: Dannie Abse, Gwyneth Lewis, Owen Sheers and Gillian Clarke, along with a poem by Gerard Benson, co-founder of Poems on the Underground, who died on April 28, 2014.

The Romantic poet John Keats lived at Keats House from 1818 to 1820 and was inspired to write his most important work here.
Keats House is open to visitors (check website for opening hours) and hosts a diverse programme of literary, musical and family events.
