Enjoy poems from the Jacobean times of Henry Stuart through to the modern day with works by Stammers and Caley.
Of John Stammers’ own poems, The Times wrote: 'beneath the sharp social satire lurks a psychological insight, a sensitivity to a profound cultural inheritance.' He has won numerous awards including the Forward Prize for Best First Collection 2001 and Poetry Book Society Choice for Spring 2005.
Matthew Caley has published four collections and been nominated for the Forward / Waterstones Prize for Best First Collection. His work has featured on BBC Radio 3's The Verb and he has read at festivals around the world.
