Ride in honour of those who serve.
Routes: choose between our 77km route, perfect for the first time sportive participants, or 110km for more experienced cyclist, or for the first time this year why not test your metal with the 160km route?
Poppy Short route: 77km (43 miles)
Poppy Middlin route: 110km (70 miles)
Poppy Muckle route: 160km (100 miles)
Participants on each route enjoy cycling along the beautiful East Lothian coast from Prestonpans to North Berwick before taking off into the scenic countryside around Gifford and Pencaitland before heading back Prestonpans through Wallyford. There's some hefty hilly lurking in the Middlin route just for kicks! And for those taking on the Muckle route this year, the hills just hit you head on... no apologies, it's a breathtaking ride.
Both existing routes include two feeding stations, with a third being added into the 160km route. Mechanical assistance and sweeper services as well as first aid come as standard on all routes.

Unfortunately we can't offer refunds on any entry fees paid, or transfers on any withdrawals. The event is only open to entrants who are over 16 years of age at 1st September 2016.
Your entry fee is a donation to Poppyscotland and although we are hugely grateful to you for that, we can only continue our work thanks to voluntary donations so please consider undertaking online fundraising.
