Storytelling using iPads and iPhones
Our next soundtalk with the Third Sector PR and Communications Network will be on storytelling using the latest tech.
We're delighted to be joined by BBC producer and tech storyteller Karl Cooper.
Karl has spent his career discovering new ways to get people and their stories broadcast. As part of the English Regions Technology team he works alongside BBC Radio, TV and Online staff training them how to use cutting-edge systems. Armed with a smartphone or tablet, particularly iPhones and iPads, and special apps, reporters can get news material on air fast. And people who are not trained journalists can take advantage of these apps too and record high quality audio and video.
During the evening we'll be putting Karl's tips into practice as we explore the latest apps and try out new storytelling techniques.
Please note: The main devices we will be using for the exercises on the night will be iPhones and iPads so please bring yours.
The hashtag for this event is #soundtalks
