Pride House 2012 is a place: a welcoming space for LGBT people and friends during the London Olympics. Located at CA House on Limehouse Basin and open on the evenings of 3-7 and 12 August and all day 4, 5 and 12 August, Pride House 2012 will offer a place to meet, watch the Olympics, have a drink, and learn more about LGBT sport and the organisations that make it happen, notably via two exhibitions: “Fearless” featuring portraits of out student athletes, and “Against the Rules”*, an overview of homosexuals in sport, including portraits of LGBT sports icons.
Pride House 2012 is a festival of sport and friendship: events include a football tournament, a fun run, and a bowling night, for visitors and Londoners alike, gay and straight. We continue to add more programming, so visit www.pridehouse2012.org to learn more. Follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/pridehouse2012, and on Twitter @ThePrideHouse (#pridehouse2012).
