Privacy & Liability - Protecting your company and your customers...
Europe is at the vanguard in protecting privacy in the digital space (and the rest of the world is not far behind). This is not always convenient to companies operating in the field. Regulation and enforcement are on the increase.
Is your product/service/platform for use by multiple users? Does it involve interaction or networking? Processing and sharing of data? Or processing content provided by third parties? And if so are you aware of your liabilities?
Where business models dictate a partnership between providers and users the desire to make money can clash with the need to avoid liability.
Workshop Objectives / Agenda
In this workshop, Ron Moscona of law firm, Dorsey & Whitney, will help you to identify those areas where your business needs to adjust in order to comply with these areas of the law, how to avoid exposure to litigation and where there may also be opportunities for creative minds.
- Short presentation
- Opportunity to examine case studies from your own experience
