Refresher workshop: Shoot & Edit High Quality Video on an iPhone or iPad.
Trainer/facilitator: Dan Mason
This workshop is only open to people who have completed our one or two-day Shoot & Edit on an iPhone course in the last 2 years.
This day is aimed at refreshing skills you learned on the previous course, particularly if you haven't had the opportunity to use your skills recently. Alternatively, you might have been shooting and editing but have some questions and would like more supervised practice.
The session will include mainly practical exercises so we'll make sure that those of you who register are provided with the Toolkit (you received after the course) two weeks before the course just in case you have mislaid it. Dan will also set a couple of small challenges for you to complete before the workshop so you can remind yourselves of the basics.
You will need to bring an iPhone 5 or 6 or iPad / iPad Mini.
You MUST have the latest version of the iMovie app installed - you'll need this to revise the Toolkit (other apps will be downloaded during the course. Please make sure you have access and password for the App Store). Also check your iOS system software is up to date (To check, go to Settings > General > Software Update).
Tripods and mounts will be available (but if you have your own, please bring them).
Keep it in mind that you can get discounts on Apple products as an NUJ member (via the main NUJ website)
We have a cancellation policy of two weeks for this workshop because of the costs associated with running it. If you cancel within this period we will be unable to refund any course fees.
If you are a member of the NUJ and have been made redundant in the last six months, or are facing redundancy you are entitled to two days of training free of charge. Please contact us for more details.
