Safe Space Training

This series of three modules has been created to act as an introduction to safeguarding for Leaders, as well as being a good refresher for all adults within Girlguiding.

In order to meet the requirements of the Leadership Qualification you must attend a face-to-face training on this subject.

Module 1:

• Safety and Safeguarding Policy,
• Code of Conduct,
• safety and risk,
• digital communications and A Safe Cyberspace,
• data protection.

Module 2:

• types and signs of abuse,
• issues affecting young people.

Module 3:

• types and signs of bullying,
• disclosures and reporting a concern
