We proudly invite you to the 4th Annual Scotia Cup BJJ Tournament which will be held at the prestigious Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena on the 30th of March 2013. The event will be contested under standard IBJJF rules which can be found here.
The competition is open to all belt divisions.
There is a combined masters & seniors division for competitors who are aged 30 or over.
The event will feature the followingweight classes: -
Male (Adult, Masters & Seniors) -57,5 kg/ -64,0 kg/ - 70,0 kg/ -76,0 kg/ -82,3 kg/ -88,3 kg/ -94,3 kg/ -100,5 kg/ + 100,5 kg
Female (Adult, Masters & Seniors) -53,5 kg/ - 58,5 kg/ - 64,0 kg/ - 69,0 kg/ + 69,0 kg
All divisions will be run on a single elimination basis. All competitors are eligible to enter the absolute division for their belt division in addition to their weight.
Closing date for all entries will be Wednesday the 27th of March, no entries will be accepted after this point and initial brackets will be available by no later than Thursday March 28th.
Competitors can inform the organiser of a change in weight division up until midnight on Thursday the 28th of March, no changes in division will be considered after this date and any competitor who fails to make weight on the day will be disqualified without any possibility of refund. Refunds will be available to those competitors who inform the organiser in advance (by no later than midnight Thursday the 28th of March) of an injury that will prevent them from competing. No refunds in the event of a no-show. All payments must be made via paypal ahead of the event.
All competitors must make weight on our scales (a 0.4kg allowance is awarded)
