Scotland, Ireland and Wales Open Event, 28th September 2016
The event will be held across lunchtime on Wednesday 28 September 2016 in the Hub Theatre and Juniper and Medlar Suite. The purpose is to raise awareness and understanding across the University of the vital work of The Open University in Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
You will be able to drop into the Juniper and Medlar suite between 11.30am and 2.30pm where there will be a wide range of interactive displays covering many aspects of what is going on in our National Centres along with a chance to talk to staff.
At 12.00pm in the Hub Theatre the formal part of the event will start with introductory remarks by Peter Horrocks, Vice-Chancellor, followed by the three Nation Directors; as places are limited, please use the button above to register for this part of the event. No registration is required to drop into the Juniper and Medler Suite to see the displays and talk to staff, so please come along to do that at any time between 11.30 and 2.30.
12:00-12:50 - Opening remarks from the Vice-Chancellor followed by a question and answer session with questions from audience and via Stadium
12:50-13:00 - Break for tea/coffee
13:00-14:00 - A ‘quick-fire’ style seminar with two presentations on different topics from each Nation
