The self-portrait is the most intriguing facet of portraiture with the artist as model being constantly available but forever mutable.
Examples of this genre over the ages are plentiful and this talk concentrates mainly on painting, giving precedence to British subjects and focusing on some eminent Slade School of Fine Art alumni.
