Sir John will be giving a talk to end the Leafing Through Natural Scotland Book Festival. Nature writing has enjoyed a renaissance in the last 10 years and is now a thriving and widely read genre. Having studied nature writing in depth in North America and in Britain, using excerpts from his own books John Lister-Kaye will present a fascinating evocation of what nature writing really means.
Chaired by Jim Crumley.Jim has worked as a journalist for nearly twenty-five years, has written over twenty books and regularly contributes to newspapers, magazines and broadcast programmes on natural history
Following this talk, acclaimed poet & founder of the Scottish Poetry Library Tessa Ransford will read from her work to end the festival.
