ACE Centre are pleased to host Smartbox Assistive Technology who will be providing an introductory training session on Grid 3 communication software.
Who is it for?
This session is aimed at people who are new to using Grid 3 software. It is suitable for education and health practitioners who would like to learn more about Grid 3 and family members who may be supporting others to use the program. This session will aim to develop your understanding of what Grid 3 can offer.
What will be covered?
An introduction to Grid 3 software will demonstrate its suitability for different people who use AAC. The session will consider alternative access options including touch, pointer, eye gaze and switch control and give an overview of the different communication vocabularies that are available.
There will be an opportunity for your questions to be answered, but as a guide these are some of the topics that will be covered:
