Join Dominic Morrow for Solder Something, a monthly soldering workshop. The workshops are suitable for beginners and people with more advanced skills. Each month we will solder a different electronics kit, this month starting with the Drawdio kit, an electronic pencil that lets you make music while you draw!
Drawdio is a very simple musical synthesizer that uses the conductive properties of pencil graphite to create different sounds. The result is a fun toy that lets you draw musical instruments on any piece of paper. Read more here http://www.makershed.com/product_p/mkad12.htm
The workshop is priced to enable us to buy the kits and cover small expenses, any further donations are welcome.

When & Where
Access Space is the UK's longest running and most sustainable free, open access media lab. At Access Space, people interested in art, design, computers, recycling, music, electronics, photography and more meet like minded people, share and develop skills and work on creative, enterprising and technical projects. We operate at a low cost with a low carbon-footprint, because we only use recycled donated computers and free, open source software.
