Event Details

Thursday 1st November 2012.
7 - 9.30 pm

Join Dominic Morrow for Solder Something, a monthly soldering workshop. The workshops are suitable for beginners and people with more advanced skills. Each month we will solder a different electronics kit, this month starting with the Drawdio kit, an electronic pencil that lets you make music while you draw!

Drawdio is a very simple musical synthesizer that uses the conductive properties of pencil graphite to create different sounds. The result is a fun toy that lets you draw musical instruments on any piece of paper. Read more here http://www.makershed.com/product_p/mkad12.htm

The workshop is priced to enable us to buy the kits and cover small expenses, any further donations are welcome.

Dominic Morrow is a founder of Nottingham Hackspace.
