The aim of this course is to provide an insight into creating more complex spreadsheets than the
Level 1 course. Individuals will learn how to use various functions, link Excel documents and
create a database in a spreadsheet application to manage information.
By attending this course you should be able to:

  • Navigate around large spreadsheets
  • Find and replace data
  • Use AVERAGE, MAXIMUM, MINIMUM, ROUND, COUNT, IF and LOOKUP functions
  • Ensure cell references remain constant when replicating functions and formulae
  • Link cells and workbooks
  • Add comments to your data
  • Create a template
  • Set conditions for formatting data
  • Understand the options for protecting data
  • Change print options
  • Share workbooks with others
  • Create and manipulate a database
