Speech and Phonological Awareness (Speech and Language Therapy)
Thursday, 29 September 2016 from 16:00 to 17:45 (BST)
The Speech and Language Therapy Workshops aim to share information and approaches that are helpful to people of all ages with speech, language and communication support needs. Workshops are open to anyone (parents and carers as well as professionals) and are free of charge. There are only 15 spaces per workshop and booking is essential.
Recently attendance has been poor despite the workshops being fully booked with a waiting list. PLEASE only book for workshops that you are able to attend (max. of 3 per person) and let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Speech and phonological awareness is an introduction to how speech sounds are produced, what can go wrong and how to help. It also looks at impact in the classroom and development of phonological awareness and literacy skills
