The Stats Support Desk offers individual and small group sessions for students in Social Science.
It offers students the opportunity to meet with a member of staff from the Q-Step Centre and discuss problems or queries they have associated with data analysis and research methods modules, as well as their individual or group research projects or papers. The Stats Help Desk offers advice on specific issues relating to data management and analysis using various statisctical software packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, STATA, R) and more general queries on methods of data analysis.
The Stats Help Desk is a unique opportunity for students to get one to one expert feedback to their questions and queries. Although it primarily targets Undergraduate students, Postagraduate Master and Research students can also get a slot by emailing E.Kolpinskaya@exeter.ac.uk or I.Cioroianu@exeter.ac.uk.
