We all play many roles in life and in business – some we’re good at and some we’re not.

In a family group we could be playing the roles of a sibling, a child, a parent, grandparent, an aunt or uncle, niece or nephew and a partner all at once.

In a business we may need to be the MD, the financial controller, the sales executive, the marketing manager, the product innovator, the HR department, the customer satisfaction team, the service deliverer and the quality controller, often switching between roles without pause for thought.

Playing to our strengths and the strengths of those around us makes us all so much more effective and relaxed.

Acknowledging that we’re not good at some things, without using it as an excuse, can be a huge relief.

This event, led by Steve Hoare, will give you the opportunity to discover your natural strengths and how you adapt to those around you.

Steve will lead us through an interactive game based on the much respected Belbin Team Roles that will be great fun and teach us a lot about ourselves and how we can, literally, get more with less.

Steve was an analytical chemist for 20 years, with 10 years operational management experience in R&D, drug discovery and contract research.

Steve has successfully employed Belbin for over 10 years with his multi-disciplinary teams and became an accredited trainer in 2010.

Time: 6.30pm - 9.30pm Style: Networking without sales pitches. Discussions and conversations over supper. Superb food by Big Day Catering, cash bar.

(and it helps us to get the food numbers right!)

Rather than do sales pitches, we encourage participants to find out who they'd most like to meet from the attendance list and to get to know the people behind the businesses by discussing their views on the topic both face to face and on-line before and after the event.
