Stevenage Raspberry Jam
We encourage people to come and play, hack or share with us.
How to get there :
Train - The college is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. More information will be provided closer to the time.
Car - The college has on site parking for the event.
This is a family-friendly event, we welcome mums and sons, dads & daughters from about 5 years and up. You don't need a Raspberry Pi to take part. Under 14s will require an adult to come with an adult with both an Adult and Under 17's Ticket needed.
The jam will have a presentation area where people are going to be able to give presentations about anything Pi related. Each presentation will be around 5 Minutes long and in the style of a lightning talk with only 50 seats being available for each presentation.
The jam will have a showcasing area where the event will take place. In this area we will allow anyone who has built anything with a Raspberry Pi to setup and showcase their projects along with being the area where people can discuss anything about Pi.
The showcase area will also have retailers of Raspberry Pi related products. Currently Cyntech and Ciseco are confirmed.
Refreshments are also planned for the day.
The money is charged to cover any costs there may be, any left over money will be used to buy more Raspberry Pis for development and for future Raspberry Jams with a 10% donation of the profit going towards the Raspberry Pi foundation
|Please email Ryanteck(at)Gmail.com if you would like to present or showcase a project you have done.|
