Event Details

This year’s conference is focussing on ‘Losing My Mind? - Examining the Link Between Mental Illness and Substance Misuse’.  We have brought together treatment providers from across Gwent and the wider area, as well as agencies and professionals.

These include GP’s, pharmacists, health care providers, housing, social services and anyone with a professional interest in or whose clients may have a substance misuse issue.

The aim is to facilitate professional development, covering a range of topics and allow a forum for networking opportunities, information sharing and innovation to be shared amongst the substance misuse treatment providers and our partners.

Delegate Information:

We pride ourselves on the fact that SMTPC is free for you to attend. We are able to do so because of the fantastic support we receive from our sponsors and exhibitors.

This year, we will be introducing a 'no-show' fee. It is inevitable that a certain percentage will register but not attend. But due to the fact that SMTPC is always fully booked, we hope this fee will encourage delegates to inform us if they are unable to attend so we can reallocate the space.
