Enjoy an outdoor summer live performance and screening. London Iranian Film Festival welcomes the live performance of the renowned Iranian musician, Daraya Dadvar, and of the critically acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Abolhasan Davoudi and his award winning film Rokhe Divaneh (Crazy Castle).

Darya Dadvar - Live Performance @ 17.30 - 18.45

Darya Dadvar is an accomplished Iranian soprano soloist and composer living in Paris, France. Darya has given concert performances in Canada, France, Germany, Iran, Sweden, the United Kingdom and United States of America. In 2002, Darya was a guest performer in Tehran with the Armenian Symphony Orchestra in the role ofTahmineh, in a work composed and directed by Loris Tjeknavorian based on the tragedy of Rostam and Sohrab, one of the most fascinating tales of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh (The Book of Kings). Apart from singing in English, French, German, Italian and Persian, Darya performs in various native languages of Iran, such as Armenian, Azeri, Gilaki, Kurdish and Mazandarani.

Having been nominated for 11 awards and taking home the Best Film and the Best Director awards at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival (2015), this is undoubtedly one of the best Iranian film of the past year.

Summary: The story follows a number of young people who get to know each other on the internet and after joking and making bets with each other, they find themselves on a daunting and complex path. A path that gives them a new understanding of life.
