We're back to our London haunt at the Nordic Bar for our summer bash. And lots of you have signed up to come already.
You may have heard of BYOD*. There's been lots of talk about it in mobile circles recently, especially among larger organisations with many of them taking the concept to heart. Well, I'm taking that to heart and making that the theme of Thursday's party.
*BYOD in my book means 'buy your own drinks', so bring your cash and credit cards as it's your turn to buy the drinks. Never fear, it's cocktail night so there's 2 for 1 on house cocktails and the beer and wine is very reasonably priced. The Nordic Bar team are ready and waiting to serve you.
If you do fancy paying for some of the drinks as a sponsor, then please get in touch if you'd like to be involved. You'd be joining a worthy list of previous sponsors and you'd be cheering up 300 or so people with an interest in mobile. And you'd make me a very happy lady.
Please note, that we are unable to stand around in the outside area at the back of the bar due to licence restrictions. If you need to take in some air, or go for a cigarette break, please use the front of the bar on the street side.
So come on down, hang with friends old and new, enjoy a chat about mobile, bring good cheer and a smile. Some business cards would probably be useful too.
