Technology and sports have long held an intimate relationship. From the innovative improvements made to the equipment used by sportsmen and women, to the broadcasting of events and matches around the world, technology plays a key role in modern day sports. This relationship will be nowhere more in evidence than in London this summer at the 2012 Olympic games.
How will this relationship change in the future? What are the technologies that will impact on the way we watch, play and enjoy sporting experiences? Amoo Venture Capital Advisory in partnership with Goodman Derrick LLP are delighted to invite you to the latest instalment of the Amoo Booster Series (ABS) event Technology in Sports where we will help answer those questions.
The evening will begin with an a overview of sports law by a partner at Goodman Derrick. This high level discussion will touch on legal issues around different technologies in sports and look at future trends. This will be followed by a pitching session that will bring together five of the most exciting entrepreneurs working at the interface between sports and technology to tell us about their ideas. Start-up companies invited include:
- Share The Match
- Rolley Golf
- New Sport Awards
