The first ever TEDx conference is coming to Lancaster on Tuesday 18th June
It is extremely exciting to be showcasing Lancaster on such a highly regarded international stage. The theme for this conference will be: “Discovery: The Journey So Far”.
Tickets will be available to purchase on Monday 20th May - 9am

TED is a world renowned nonprofit organisation devoted to ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’ giving millions of knowledge-seekers around the globe direct access to the world’s thought leaders: Each year, the world’s leading thinkers and doers gather for conferences that many describe as the highlight of their year. The TEDx program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. Consisting of live talks and screenings of specially selected TED talks these conferences are designed to spark thought and discussion in an entertaining and accessible way.
The conference will be in the LICA building, 5pm till 10pm. A full programme will be released nearer the time.
