About this event

The conference features two plenary lectures (from Ian Duncan and Angela Esterhammer), as well as around forty papers on a diverse range of topics. More information can be found on the project website: https://1820s.net/.

The registration fee covers the full cost of attending the conference's academic programme, and includes food and drink in the lunch and tea breaks across both days. The waged fee (£85) should be paid if you're in a full-time, permanent academic post or equivalent employment; otherwise, you're welcome to pay the concessionary fee (£60).

The conference dinner on the evening of April 11th (beginning at 8pm) can be booked as an optional extra for the cost of £35. This covers the meal and a reasonable quantity of beverages. The dinner will be at Balbir's (https://www.balbirs.co.uk/), which is located at 7 Church Street, five minutes from the conference venue.

There are fields on the registration form to notify us of any dietary or access requirements that you have; if you can please let us know, we'll do our best to accommodate these.
