Jeremy has an unusual background for a charity CEO. After university he worked for ten years as a diplomat with the Foreign Office, with postings in Pakistan and Rome. He then spent 15 years in the City as an investment banker in mergers and acquisitions, rising to the position of managing director at Rothschild.
Jeremy was appointed chief executive of BibleLands, the Christian development charity focused on the Middle East, in November 2009. He led a programme of change at the charity, including changing its name to Embrace the Middle East.
