Andrew Sillitoe is passionate about helping leaders and businesses create a high performance culture where everyone can thrive.
He doesn’t want to just challenge conventional leadership theory, he wants to go a step further and present an approach that not only changes how we think about leadership, but also the way we live our lives altogether.
Andrew started out in life as a street hockey player in Royal Tunbridge Wells a small town in the South East of England. He got his first stick age 9 and life would never be the same.
In 1997 he moved to Canada to pursue a professional roller hockey career and became the first British player to compete in the North American Roller Hockey Championships Professional Division.
In 2007 he was approached by a consultancy to speak about the ‘winning mind-set’ which kick started a career in performance coaching working with business leaders and teams. He found his purpose and he has never looked back.
In 2009 he developed a unique model for helping leaders, teams and businesses create a high performance culture called Get Your House in Order.
After playing in 11 world championships for Great Britain Inline Hockey, Andrew accepted the role as Head Coach in 2010 and put his philosophy to work. Team Great Britain won Gold and promotion into Pool A for the first time at the IIHF World Championships nine months later.
Andrew headed to Birkbeck University to study an MSc in Organisational Change and put some academic rigor around his approach, and in 2013 all his thoughts came together in his first book Managing The Mist.
He is best known for his unique and innovative views on leadership, which have earned him invitations to work with companies including Pfizer, Ericsson, Nationwide, Virgin Media and the BBC.
You have a chance to win one of Andrew's books.
